Many utilities, contractors and other pipe maintenance professionals have embraced PACP and have invested considerably in training and certification programs. That investment is strengthened by PACP Certified software like WinCan, which systematizes and streamlines CCTV data collection and analysis.
PDM and NASSCO recommend against modifying WinCan‘s PACP Certified software. The reality is we can not control the decision making within utilities and NASSCO prefers that customers support PACP, even if the program is slightly modified. WinCan carries PACP certification only so long as a user does not modify or delete PACP fields, codes or rules.
